You don’t need to know the right computer terms to ask for help. Perhaps you want to email photos to family, join a video call or find a document you saved yesterday. Bring us your questions and we’ll work through them together.
Mobile Computer Geeks provides one-on-one computer lessons for home users and small businesses around Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich, Moreton Bay and the Redlands. We can start with the basics or concentrate on a particular program. There’s time to practise, ask again and make notes you can follow later.

Everyday computer skills, explained clearly
A good lesson should make your next day on the computer easier. We can build the session around a few tasks you use regularly, including:
Email and staying in touch
Send attachments, organise your inbox and use video calls. If messages aren’t arriving properly, we can also help with email setup and support before you practise.
Files, photos and programs
Create folders, find downloads, move photos and use the apps you need. We’ll explain where things are saved and show you a simple way to keep them organised.
Getting comfortable online
Use browser tabs, manage bookmarks and recognise suspicious prompts. We can show you how passwords and account recovery work without turning the lesson into a technical lecture.
Set up your devices and learn to use them
A new device is much more useful once it fits into your day. We can connect a printer, help you get comfortable with a tablet or show you how your TV and speakers work with your home internet.
Thinking about buying something new? Tell us what you’d like it to do and what you want to spend. We’ll help you understand the options and check how they would work with the equipment you already have. Once it’s set up, you’ll have a chance to try it yourself while we’re there.
Make more of your streaming and music services
Finding a show should be the easy part. We can help you sign into a streaming service on a compatible TV, computer or tablet, then show you how to search, use profiles and pick up where you left off. We’ll explain any subscription you choose before you sign up.
The same goes for music. Whether you use Spotify, Apple Music or another service, we can help connect a compatible speaker and show you how to choose songs from your phone. If the connection keeps dropping, we can look at your home Wi-Fi setup too.
A lesson built around your questions
Write down the things you’d like to learn before the appointment, even if they seem small. Have your devices charged and your account sign-in details available. We’ll agree on a starting point and work through as much as the session allows.
Want another session once you’ve had time to practise? We can pick up from there. Suitable computer training can also be arranged remotely if your device and connection allow it.
